WPW has come back

Hello everyone. I haven't posted in a while. I was wondering if anyone here has had an experience like I am having right now. I had to have AV Node ablation in 2001 that left me with complete heart block and a dual chamber pacemaker. I had my new generator put in in 2006. When I had to go in to see the tech for an interrogation the last few times, she told me that I have been having episodes when my heart rate would reach anywhere up to 180 BPM. Some of them would last up to 1 1/2 minutes to 3 minutes each time. She ordered an event monitor for me to record when I was feeling weak, lightheaded, feeling skipped beats or my heart racing. I was supposed to wear it for 30 days but after having so many of them and calling them in, she had me to come in earlier and sent me to the EP to let him look over my readings. He showed me most of them and one of them showed where the fast impulses were reaching my ventricles. Anyway, he said that I need another EP study done to see what damage is in there and see if my WPW has returned because the symptoms were all classic WPW. He said that he would have to actually poke through to the other side of my heart to see what is going on (not in those exact words) but I can only do layman terms. Has anyone had to have this done? I am very scared. He can't damage any of the leads that are in there can he? Sorry for the long message.
