Almost 100%

Hello, fellow partial-bionics!

my roommate loves to joke around that every time i go in for another surgery, the EP and the cardiac surgeon stand around and say things like 'we have the technology.' 'we can rebuild her!' and '...i'm giving her everything she's got, cap'n!' wait, that last one might be out of context...

ANYway. i just had to thank you so much for the good thoughts! i am 7 days since my pocket revision, and things are good. i'm almost back to 100% -- still not really lifting much, or really using my left arm too terribly much. i'm fine with the typing, 'cause there's hardly any shoulder stress, but i'm finding that anything causing my shoulder to work hard makes my stitches pull and feel funny still. i know, it's only a week post-op, but whatever. i'm not what one could call a patient patient.

i'm hopeful that this will be the last of the procedures for a while - i think i've had about enough of this. :)

take care of yourselves, my friends, and know that though i don't visit here often, i do think of you all often! email me any time: theprincessofdoom@gmail.com

xoxo!

But I think it will make me feel a lot better. My stamina to walk is already better, even right after surgery. They had me walk all around the floor before they would release me. I did so without being exhausted and winded the way I had been.
