There are several members here who have had leads extracted but I'm not sure where they had it done. Good luck! How many sets of leads do you have?

There are a few good hospitals...

to have this procedure done. I know Cleveland Clinic is one of the best, and the one in Boston is also very good. This can be tricky surgery, and there are potential risks and/or complications. You want to find a Dr. who has done a lot of these surgeries, and uses the latest laser sheath technique. If you "Google" pacemaker lead extractions, you'll find good information. I had both my leads extracted 2 years ago, and did very well. Keep us posted on how you do! Best wishes,
Bambi

Brigham and Women's excellent.
