Less PVC's after PM Surgery and Collateral Damage

Good morning PM Gods and Goddesses,

Before my PM implant surgery, I had some pretty nasty and frequent PVC's for ~4 years. The PVC's thumped hard, and made me catch my breath. I received my PM 8 months ago, and from the moment I got out of surgery, the PVC's were 75% fewer and 75% less forceful. Frankly, I'm loving it, but it makes me go "Hmmmmm..."

Even after my PM was removed, same. PVC's much better. 8 months later, still the same. Instead of a hard thump, I just get a mushy little thump.

I take no meds to speak of, and the PVC's are the same with and without the meds, and with and without the PM, which some of you may remember was removed. (I feel so naked).

My question is, what may have happened in surgery to suddenly change my PVC frequency and severity? Is there such thing as a serendipitous accidental ablation? :)

The bad news is, since the surgery, I have had SOB, dizziness, and leg weakness. There is no foot, hand, or face swelling, and a recent echo shows a decent EF of 65%.

I may be off track, but I'm thinking whatever made my PVC's feel mushy may also have caused the other negative symptoms.

Do my symptoms ring a bell? Any ideas or experience?

Many thanks,,,

Bob A.

My eight year old son had a pacemaker since he was 6 months old. He does very well, plays soccer, baseball, and rides his bike. I am so glad he is not ashamed of his pacemaker. He will proudly show his "battery" to anyone.
