Meanings?

Bullseye,

I'll join in the guessing game.

My guesses are 134/87 were blood pressure readings. The 86 over 60 could have been the blood pressure reading he got the first time he checked it or possibly it was the lowest BP reading he saw. As for the 86.6, is it possible you misread the numbers and that was 96.6. If it were 96.6 I would guess that was his temperature, but if it was 86.6, I don't know. If that had been temp, he probably would have been unconscious due to hypothermia (low temperature).

One other thing, as a favor to many of us, please refer to these attacks as episodes or seizures. We have a son that has epilepsy and the nearest I ever came to hitting a nurse (actually it was a nurses aid) was when she referred to one of his seizures as a "fit." To me fits are something dogs have and humans have seizures.

Now for those that want to correct me, I know the use of "fit" in this case is correct, as in "a sudden violent attack (as of bodily disorder)" but it just is something I abhor.

As for his pacemaker it should have not effect whatsoever on it and with the valve surgery being 6 months old, I doubt it had any effect on it either. Of course these are things you need to ask the doctor about.

Good luck to your husband.
