Meditronic Defibulator

Hi everyone!

I just joined this site and wish to ask a question.

In the beginning, my mom took Phen-fen for many years. Her heart now pumps at 23% capacity. Her "attorneys" settled with Wyeth for a low amount. What a joke! My mom had to file Bankruptcy because of this nonsense.
To top this off my mom had a Meditronic Defibulator put in and then it was recalled due to faulty problems. My mom had another put in. She does have an attorney for this and Meditronic has agreed to settle with her.
Question. Anyone know ths status of settlement issues with Meditronic?

I am really sorry to hear about your Mom. I am 23 yrs old and had a pacemaker put in a few years ago after taking ephedra pills. I believe it is what was in Phen fen. I did not know how to file a case or prove that this was the cause of my condition. Though I know it was. I wish your mom the best. I know that no sum of money could make up for a heart condition.
