Newy Pete and need support group

hi all iam newy pete and was wondering how i should go about finding a support group in the southeast part of michigan which is metro detroit please let me know

Beaumont Hospital

Beaumont Hospital in Royal Oak used to have one. But it might be just for their own patients. You could check....

As Suze said the PM club is a great support group. Lots of knowledgeable folks here and one's with great sense of humour to boot.

I don't live in your area but you might also want to try contacting The Heart and Stroke Foundation of America they often run what they call Healthy heart programs and can possibly connect you with a group in your area. Or alternatively you can try contacting your community health center they often keep lists of such groups as well.

Best of luck in finding a group in your area...but welcome to this group as well...
