cell phones

My sister just heard a doctor on tv warning about cell phones and pacemakers. Is there any new information out there - I was always told that there is no problem...but it was recommended to not carry it in my left shirt pocket.
thanx,
Milo

It's safe to use a cell phone!! Newer pm's are well shielded and very few things interfere with them. There are some pm's that don't mix well with some phones. If feel funny, move the phone to the other pocket and talk on it on the opposite side of your device. I've had 4 different pm's and more phones than I can count and I've never had a problem.

I'd play safe....

There was a recent study shown on CNN how cellphones can cause cancer so ....... I'm just the type who likes to play it safe.

Sure, I'll use a cell phone once in a blue moon, but I certainly wouldn't carry it "on" me.

Just my preference.

what doesnt cause cancer?? Everyday life is getting like the disclaimers and side effect dictionaries that come with medications, everyone is afraid of the rampant law suit.

I was just in his office today and talking on my cell when he came in. He took it out of my hand and placed it in the other hand and laughed. (I've only had my PM for a week).

We discussed it and he said it's really not that big of a deal but should be carried on the opposite side of the PM and you should talk on the opposite side as well.

You know you're wired when...

Trade secrets can be smuggled inside your device.
