me and others :)

Hi all, I am fairly new to this site, but I am more than happy to discuss issues and help if i can. I am a 15 year old female and have had my pacemaker for 6 months. I was 14 at the time of the implant.
I am not Pacemaker dependant, which means my pacemaker is not working all the time, only when i need it to. I have a fairly rare condition. Since I had the PM, my general day-to-day life has improved massively and I have no regrets whatsoever :)

If anyone wants to ask me any questions about my condition or my pacemaker, please feel free to drop me a comment on here or send me a private message if you wish :)

Thanks for the offer of answering questions. I'm sure you will hear from some of us. The more input we have the better the forum.

Glad your pacer is working out so well. I'm at the other end of the age spectrum at 79yrs and it has done the same for me.

thanks

I am not planning on letting any of this shorten my life. I am planning on living a long happy battery operated life. You never know maybe it will keep me alive longer. I sure know one thing I would have been dead before starting school without it.
