Constanly on Guard

Greetings fellow Cyborgs

I have not posted in quite a while. As I moved from Buffalo, NY
to Brooksville, FL and was without internet access.

My latest PM was implanted on 10/9/2010 and it now has been relegated to the background.

What I mean is that it is not felt or thought about by me except in rare instances.

How ever I must always be on guard. Recently I went to the VA
hospital for a hearing loss check and the Audiologist scheduled me for the Ear Nose Throat Clinic in May. Shortley after the scheduling I received a post card saying my doctor had scheduled me for an MRI prior to the visit. I called and informed them that as a PM recipient I was not a candidate for an MRI. It seeems that my PM some how was no longer in my VA medical records. I can't imagine what would happen to a person if they are not on guard and aware they should not have an MRI.

We have to look out for ourselves because doctors can and sometimes do make mistakes

Missing the snow?

Hey Possum, Aren't you missing the Buffalo Snow? How did you end up in Fla? What big town in Brooksville near? I was always fascinated with FLA, ever since my first Spring Break in Ft. Lauderdale in the late 70's!
