5 weeks post op and still problems

Hi
I have been here almost every day since I got my PM, it is so good, that people can ask questions, and there are so many who will give answers. I have learned a lot, but I still have some question.
I have had my PM for 5 weeks now. Because of the holydays I have been recovering at home. This week I started back in job. My problems come when I walk fast and especially if it’s outside in frost.
I get palpitation, I have more extra strong beats, high-pressure in my left ear (where I can hear the extra beats), the ringing in my ears get louder, I became very tired, gained 4 pound and have ring marks after my stockings and finally It hurts in my chest as if my heart is trying to tie a knot, and burning pain between my shoulder blades.
I called the hospital and they want me to come for PM checkup tomorrow. I got the PM for SSS, sinus arrest and AV-block.
Can they do anything about it? or will they just say, I have to live with it, because the PM does what it’s supposed to?

Ps I also get a lot of this: " I know some people who were fit for fight after only two weeks"

Hi friends
Thank you for response.
I went to the heard clinic and the doctor listens to me telling all my mysterious symptoms. And said, it sounds like one who needs to learn how to coop to have a pacemaker. At first they thought I would only need the pacer to work once or twice every fortnight, but it pace about one hour a day, so it was ok to feel like crap. He tried the pacer and I felt all the symptoms again. He told me, that it can take as long as 1 – 1½ year. He also told me to drink a lot, like the advice in here. I get very tired just like you, emiller95251. My boss is very understanding and told me to come and talk, if I needed to slow down. I’m not sure how to do that. I still feel like crap, but it’s easier to accept it, knowing, it’s just the pacer working and not some other problems.

had my pacemaker/defib almost 90 days alot of what I read on here about pains, spasms site soreness and other things seam to be just normal things after pacemaker is installed. But your posting sounds just like me.

when I walk fast and especially if it’s outside in frost.
I get palpitation, I have more extra strong beats, high-pressure in my left ear (where I can hear the extra beats), the ringing in my ears get louder, I became very tired,

The ringing in my ears is almost unbearable, seems like palipations and spasms or whatever they call them come from the cold and so does the ringing in ears, I too can feel every heart beat in my ear it is really weird all checks say ok and monitor shows nothing, Doctor says it will get better. Have had 4 adjustments since installed.

I too have the burning/pain between my shoulder blades almost everyday. Almost everyday I can at sometime during the day feel the pacemaker pacing, it starts in my throat and then makes me sick to my stomach, when they test it at Doctors office I have the same feeling, once this happens I become so tired and wore down I just go take a nap. Do you ever get used to the feeling of the pacing? My Doctor and Tech says in time I hope so. hang in there glad I found this site thought I was just crazy, everyone I talk to that has pacemaker says no problem the Doctors act like you are crazy and tell me I am over sensitive. It is what it is and I am what I am, they brought me back from death after the heart attack but they can't seem to fix quality. Just glad to be here with Grandkids I am 54 this all started after a kidney stone operation and meds caused a masive heart attack and death then revival and 3 strokes next 30 days it has been alittle over 24 months since kidney operation.
