Have a great day

Just wishing everyone out there in "Electronic" land a wonder-filled day. We just keep going, and going, and going, and going, and going.........ain't it wonderful?
I'm 4 weeks post implant today! For some reason, that means a lot to me, and I'm proud of myself. One step closer to normalcy.
Take care ya'll,
Oh yeah, yesterday we were talking about the nicknames that people have given us since our pacemaker implants. People at work used to call me Porcupine (because of my spikey hair), now they call me Ticker. Whatever.....I embrace it.

I'm just 6 days post electronics, still want them to add outlet so I can plug laptop into it when battery runs low on computer.

Your 4-Week Partner

Yes, I am also 4 weeks today!! Still told today at the doctor's to keep arm in sling at night for another 2 weeks - hate it!! Soooo annoying - oh well.

Still not used to having the feeling like something is there all the time. I describe it like someone sewn a pack of cigarettes into my chest! I have almost a 4" scar since there were problems and they couldn't get a second lead in.

Long story short, it was something I needed and I'm dealing with it - and dealing a lot better then about 2 weeks ago. We'll just carry on!!

I'm happy you embrace the nicknames. I was ready to smack another person that called me the Bionic Woman, but that finally passed - phew :)
