Not a valid user?

I tried to send a private message to member to apologize for a post, but it came up as member "Not a valid user"? Does anyone know wha that means?

looking their name up using the Member List....perhaps they are no longer a member???

I did that and when I went to send it came up Invalid User

Hi heartu.

Yep, that sometimes can happen.

So...just go to a post where they have posted or responded and click on their name, which will then bring you into their bio and right below their name it says something like...would you like to send this person a message....

that works for me.

or have I totally confused you???

I learn something new from this online site every day! I never have had the problem of "invalid" as heartu stated above, but now I know how to "go around" that lil' obstacle.

All my "private messages" have gone thru. Some of which I wish I had sent to the World of over 10,000 members, because I felt several hunderd should have read my message.

Gratitudes to all for "posting/comments" and for being such great "friends" to all of us.

I have taken it on myself to write "admin/PM Info. Requests" email as to why, when we want to go to the personal page of this particular member, I click on this members name under their "post/comment".

Immediately, I am sent to the search engine which locates any/all names when you input a name. This is UNlike the way any other member name works. Like, if I wanted to find "Pookie's" profile or send her a private message, I would just click on her name in the post/comment she has made. That takes me directly to Pookie, NOT to the search engine as this other particular name takes me. Then I have to type in that person's name and wait for the search. Then when I do get to the page of this person ~ there has been NO info. input by this person. Please fill out personal Profiles.

Knowing Blake, he is "Johnny on the spot" and have this lil' glich taken care of soon. Thanx Blake/admin.

Thank you for writing to admin. I have had a nasty headache all afternoon and decided it is bedtime for me at 7:30 pm. Hopefully a good night's sleep will do the trick.
