If you mean to drive commerical, with a pm you will be able to drive. If you have and ICD you will not be a able to drive commerical. Driving private in the US no problem with either one. As for the loss of memory that is a god send. Go visit your old girl friend and every thing will be like new. ha ha and be ready to duck.!!!!!

I assumed you were in the US and I check your Bio and you are in the UK laws are different old boy. They are touchy about ICD here so I was forced to retire. darn Hang in there it aint bad and you have friends here.

Thanks

Why the memory loss?

What caused the memory loss. Was it happening before the pacer was implanted? Just wondering.

Memory Loss ~ ~

Did you have this before? Did the Dr.'s prescribe any medications? What kind of memory loss?

A lot of behaviors/attitudes can blamed on some meds. They can sure mess with your mind. I knew a perfectly sweet Lady recently who was placed on new meds. Her meds made her caretakers think she had become hostile. After the Dr. removed the meds, she was fine.

Please let us hear from you. You will find your new friends at the PM Club are the bestest & mostest ~

hmmm....i have similar problems with regards to this but i think it's not due to my PM implant but according to doc it's the effect of frequent use of anesthesia "strong dosage" during the operation that is why they are prescribing me medicines for memory...a memory enhancer....:)
