Amioderone

A few days ago there was a posting reguarding Amioderone and a person's concern about the side effects. I made a couple of responses and then thought to go through my list of book marked pages. Since I take Amioderone and was so worried about the side effects along with all the other drugs I take, I did alot of research. I am one of those who is maintained on 100 mg and do quite well. Yes, there are side effects but all the drugs I take produce some side effect. It gets to be the case of what is one more side effect? Being alive is a side effect of taking my drug cocktail.

joy, i am on amiodarone now since april. i know of some of side effects. thanks for web sight. i wanted to know do you ever get a warm feeling go across your chest sometimes? i get this feeling some times and i think my icd is going to fire but does not. it did fire in april. that is why i am on amiodarone. if you can answer i would appreciate it. just title it curly's answer thank you

Amiodarone is a fantastic drug for treating arrythmias...but the side affects are not nice. It is one of those drugs that affects every organ in your body, but when this drug works it works well.. I have not heard of the warm feeling as you describe it, however that doesn't mean it 's not possible. Keep us posted as to how your make out...best of luck and good health to you!
