Photo album donations

Hi Everyone -

When I went to the link to make a donation to the Photo Album fund I found that in addition to my donation there would be a $6.00 fee for handling through PayPal. Now, I thought about this and realized this might be the quickest way to get it done, however, if I would just write a check to mail I could add the $6.00 I would have paid for handling, and the fund would have $6.00 more than otherwise. If those of you who are interested in making a donation would do this rather than using PayPal (nothing against PayPal - I use it a lot for online ordering) we could reach the $500.00 more quickly.

As far as my online name...I have an ELA pacemaker and am a girl, so I figured ela-girl was cute. :) Nothing more than that. I'm actually from the Great Lakes state but currently living in Arizona...no East LA girl in me! How boring, right?! ha ha

Why don't you set up a photo album at photobucket.com?

Pick someone to set up the photo album, e-mail your photos to that person, and then the photos can be uploaded to the page. It's free. Then the person in charge will provide the link to the page where you can view the photos.

I found the same. When I went to make my donation, I was charged a $ 15.00 fee for shipping, ( no handling ). I e-mailed Blake to find out what would be shipped, he explained what it was in regards to, and said that nothing would be shipped. It's just an automatic addition, based on the amount of the order, since he uses Pay-Pal for merchandise orders. He could not get it to exclude the photo album donation fund.
Just adjust your donation amount down by the amount of the shipping, so that the total equals the amount you wish to donate.
Whichever way you choose, will get it done.
I chose to just leave it, since I had already gone through the transaction.
Like you say Sharon, it will go a lot faster that way.

maybe a good idea. i think tho that i payed pay-pala nd could ahve sent a check. however what is done is done so now i must live with that. sending a check would have been better. oh well live and learn. if we can set this up more cost wise the money could be used for something else on the site. what are everyone's thoughts? i think tho blake 's idea is good and may work better. anybody? jessie
