Hello My Friends!

Hi Everyone,

It has been months since I last posted. It has now been 2 and a-half years since I got my PM. Everything is still good. Had a PM interrogation last month. Still pacing 100% in the vent. but only 58% in the atrial, down from 74%. This is attributed to having been off atenolol for several weeks. Since being off atenolol I have had more energy and my emotions have returned to pretty much normal. Everyday I thank God for this technologic miracle that keeps my heart beating!

It was so good to see Smitty's postings. He has always had the right answers when I needed them. Electric Frank, too. These 2 gentlemen got me through the first few months of many questions after PM! Blessings to everyone.

What issues were you having with Atenolol? My 21 year old son has a defibulator and is on this same drug because of his Brugada Syndrome. Thank you for any infor. you can give.

hi there!

Glad to hear from you, Sharon! Many of us have missed you! I was on atenolol some years ago, and felt lousy most of the time! One of the side effects I had was intense itching, especially on my torso! Weird huh? Anyway, I'm glad you are feeling better! Take care,
Bambi

I have a well tuned pacer. I hardly know I have it. I am 76 year old, hike and camp alone in the desert. I have more energy than I have had in a long time. The only problem is my wife wants to have a knob installed so she can turn the pacer down.
