A week larter update

Hello to all....
after so many overwhelming good wishes from you all last week after my stay in hospital .. (Thank you AlI) thought I would give you an update on how things are going....
Although do feel somewhat better I don't seem to be making much progress.... still deperately weary and my chest infection seems to be still hanging on.....but there is a light at the end of the tunnel... my wife Nina just rung me from the hospital to say the results of some tests they done last week are back... and there is an infection that requires a different antibiotic to the one I have been taking.. so I will start them tonight and hope in a couple of days I see some improvement.....
Thank you all for being so caring... onwards and upwards Peter N.

Hi Pete,
Its Pete, lol(I'm so predictable, but soooo funny....to myself!)

Laughter might be good,my attempt at humor was feble but hopefully each bit helps.

Anyway,I had a chest infection recently myself and was feeling a bit worried cause I couldn't shake it.They were going to do tests ,but it finally went.
Once they I.D the bug they can get the appropriate Antibiotics, and away you go! , all better!.

I know you know this anyway but my partner always tells me positive messages to help with this stuff just to reinforce it in my brain.
Positive thinking is my motto, and I have seen your posts have a very positive outlook.
Thats why I'm sure you'll be better in no time.
Cheers
Pete

Hello Pete,
Nice to hear you are getting better and that the test show you need different medications. I hope they work.
Have a good day.

Hi Peter,
Just a thought, but when you are trying to fight an infection, a boost to your immune system helps you to recover quicker. I take whole food supplements from GNLD, which is worldwide, and they have TRULY helped me! While my kids sort of roll their eyes and pat my head when I swallow these supplements, I was the only one in my family that did not get the flu this winter! And I'm usually prone to everything that comes around the block! Anyway I'm so glad you are home and doing better! Take care!
