We are blessed!

I am always inspired by the postings people write that reflect how they have come to terms with their pacemakers, and have made a sort of peace with them! Cathryn's post about realizing she didn't think about her pacemaker for an entire day, seemed to have struck a cord in many of us! While many of us do have trouble with different issues, and I have had my share, we do realize that they save our lives, probably without us knowing it. I became a grandmother for the first time last week, and as I gaze at my brand new little granddaughter's sweet face, I am so grateful for my life! I'm also grateful that there is a site where we can bring our bumps in the road to a group of people who really know what we are talking about! I think in a way we are lucky we have this device in our chests to remind us how sweet life is!

What a l-o-v-e-l-y entry, Bambi! Warmest congratulations on your new granddaughter and again
many thanks for your continuing words of wisdom. You were one of the first people who responded to my call for help last year as a new and very challenged "Pacer" and I can not tell you how much I appreciated that as well as reading your comments to others over time. Enjoy! Lou

Congrats Granny! :)

You know you're wired when...

You have a maintenance schedule just like your car.

I love this new part of me, and very, very thankful that this technology exists and I know that it's all only going to get better over time.
