Welcome!

I use to try and get on everyday and welcome each new member but with my health I have not been able to. So I wanted to welcome each of you to the club.
Yes, there is always that chance you won't get along with somebody but for the most part you can find some amazing women, men, teens, and even kids on here. I hope that all of you feel welcomed and if you don't and need encouragement at all please send me a private message any time.

Also, with all the stuff being posted about the swearing. I just wanted to make note that sometimes I have even said stuff that I should have not said on a group like this but you always have forgiven me. In turn really some of you have helped me or seen past what I was saying and known that I was struggling and just needed a ear to listen to me. So I wanted to thank you as always for being such a amazing group of people who loves through pain and suffering.

Welcome to all you new members once again and I hope that you find comfort from knowing people care about your struggles.

I am just new to the site and to a pacemaker (Dec '08). It was a scary experience, made even scarier by a inexperienced surgeon who botched it the first time and the whole thing had to be redone a couple days later. I am so happy that I found this website. I didn't know anyone else that had a pacemaker. Although my family is very supportive it is nice to talk to people who have been there. It is nice to ask questions, have some questions answered, and learn what questions to ask. So I thank all of you for making me feel welcome and giving me some place to come to when no one else understands.
