Afib, Our device and Our term insurance policy

Morning fellow device owners

I will try to be brief. I’m a licensed insurance advisor and have practiced for 18 yrs.  I knew my Afib was going to effect my future underwriting for another life policy but my cardiac arrest and subsequent ICD surgery now makes me uninsurable with traditional life insurance.

With that said, I can “ convert” my current Term policy and leverage the chronic illness rider within the policy benefits for possible long term care needs in the future.

Your current Term policy is valuable because the conversion occurs with your previous underwriting decision.

Example: I was a preferred non tobacco status 19 years ago. My risk rating stays the same to convert, just at my current age.  It’s not ideal but does gives us options

This sounds terriblely self serving, but I would love to speak with you if you’re interested in more information about the strategy.  In the last several year’s, insurance companies have improved the pricing on there products.  You may be pleasantly surprised

Btw, I was encouraged to post this by our admin

kind regards

Kent
