Pm leads

I had my pm fitted 3 weeks ago and was told to take it easy with no excessive shoulder movements etc. I think I've succeeded on the whole, but how would I know if I have pulled a lead out of place?

If it came out, it would stop pacing so you'd feel like you did before. Sometimes it feels like a  hiccup or twitch. They can tell instantly when they interrogate. There is a 99.9% chance it's fine. It may seem like it happens all the time based on the posts here, but it's actually quite rare.

We all accidentally do things we shouldn't while healing. Don't lift anything heavy or raise the arm overhead, otherwise try to use the arm normally so the shouldn't doesn't freeze. Restrictions after the first 24-48 hours are precautionary. If it comes out after that, it's more likely because it was in a bad spot or the heart muscle didn't like the way it was attached, not because of anything we did. They do not put them in tight. There is often enough slack between where it comes out of the vein and where it attaches to the box that they coil it and tuck it behind the box.

Tracey, thanks a lot for your reassurance
