Henry Allingham the worlds oldest man has died in the UK at the age of 113. He fought in the first world war and the UK has only Harry Patch left as the last soldier from those times. I am always fascinated by those who live to great age.
Henry put his long life down to whisky , cigarettes and wild wild women. Unfortunately I dont like cigarettes or whisky. Any offers? Cheers Peter

Pete,
I saw this news yesterday in one of our newspapers and the thought went through my mind was that I guess Mr. Allingham living only to age 113 shows what a poor health care system is available to the people in England.

I do like whisky!
Seriously though what a grand old age and what an amazing life to have lived in three centuries and seen all the changes, most for the better, a few perhaps not!
