Aussie Pals

Hi Pacers

I have just had a lovely phone conversation with Rewiredaussie
(Kay) We will be going to the mainland from Tasmania on 8 March for a week in Melbourne. Kay and I are meeting for a day in Melbourne. No fellas, just a gals day out. Look out Melbourne City!!!

In July we go back over again as it is lambing season and I just cannot take it any more. It breaks my heart if the weather turns rough and the little one's die in the night and are all over the paddock in the morning. The weather here is so dry there is little for the sheep to eat and our three have gone out to graze with the rest of the flock from the farm next door. It seems so quiet and eerie without them calling out whenever I go outside.

I have been able to keep in touch with some of my pmpals by conversing on msn it has been great. I would like to thank everyone for the support that was given to me over Christmas and my husband's illness which was a difficult time. The private messages were really welcome and thanks for the comfort, support and interest.

Whilst you all freeze in a lot of the states over there we are sweltering. Rewired said it was 40c Melbourne way and we nearly died of heat exhaustion when the temp reached 32c the other day. Hottest day since 2001 here.

Keep well all of you and keep those interesting positngscomings.

Cheers Billie

G'day Billie, Thinking of you today, the temperature in Lonny is showing 39 deg. at the present time. I feel for all farm animals in these extreme times. It's a little scarey to think these changes are increasing. Good to hear your travel news, and hey! behave yourself and remember your'e TASMANIAN......enjoy... Henry2nd.
