I am so excited about the PM club!

I am new to the PM club today and I must say very excited! After my first PM in 1999 I asked my dr if there was a support group of any type. He thought I was joking...not cool! What is cool is I found all of you--years later, but that's okay--I found what I knew had to exsist! Thank you for willingness to share your experiences and for your support I see in your responses. I hope I am fortunate to communicate with many on this site! My pacemaker changed my life in so many ways! It was like night and day immediately, in how I felt physically, soon after that I became strong emotionally and spiritually too! What a gift we've each been given and I'm sure without that gift most of us would not be here! Gratitude always!

Hi Bunny, good to have a newcomer on board! You seem to have such a great attitude. I could use some of that energy. I have only had my PM 4 months. You probably have already experienced a lot of things many of us our going through and will be a great help to many. I always hope that many of us can help any concerns or questions you might have. The great thing about this site is no question or concern is silly, stupid,or dumb. Everyone always seems to understand where you are coming from. That makes it great! Hope to hear from you soon. Good thoughts and prayers.

God bless you,
cottontop

Let me extend a very warm welcome to you! And thank you for writing such a positive and uplifting post. It was exactly what I needed to read on this early Friday morning. See...you've helped someone already.

We are also glad that you found us. You will like the people here tremendously, I promise.

Again, welcome,
Suze

Hi Bunny,

Well I just got my feelings hurt real bad. You got welcomed and I didn't even get a hello. That's alright, Miss Ellie tells me I'm a good boy every night.

And I'm just kidding, just kidding. As for the Pacemaker Club, I agree with everyone that it is God's gift to those of us that have a pacemaker. While I haven't been a very participant with the comments because I don't know nothing, I have been reading for a long time and I can't even began to say how many unanswered questions I have had answered.

So, thanks to all of you.

You know you're wired when...

You’re officially battery-operated.

A pacemaker suddenly quitting is no more likely to happen than you are to be struck by lightening.
