So far, welding is going fine...

So, finally back to working on a car project. Got the inner fenders of my MGB GT put in and did a lot of welding, no issues with the ICD, so that's good. I don't use mine until I exceed 220 bpm anyways, so didn't interfer with anything so far.

At least that's something....

I too have been involved with a restoration project and finally nearing completion but the welding processes have cost me much time and consternation. My project is similar to yours, a 1953 Morgan +4.so it seems even us, the battery opperated society, can still carry out and enjoy life's pleasures, good on you!! I have had my ICD almost 2 years now and has provided a new outlook on life for me so your so I beleive your mindset is right as well, keep at it! ....Geoff.

I mentioned to someone else that you are never the same after an event like getting something stuffed in your body, etc, but I'm trying to get back to things I enjoyed.

I'm actually modifying it a lot, putting 315/40-17 wheels/tires in back, a ford 8.8 IRS setup, new front suspension to go along with the 550+ wheel HP V6 going into the car. I used to love working on cars, but between the Vtach, being placed on debilitating medications, then getting off those meds after an ablation, I'm finally up to trying some things again.

Now, if I only didn't have this large metal breast, I'd be fine.......
