3 Years

I haven't been on here in a while, but this site was a big help when I was first implanted with my ICD. I have been battery operated for 3 years today. lol. I was implanted after going into cardiac arrest for 29 minutes. Then I was in a coma for 3 days and was implanted the next day. Well 3 years and shock free. I still use my pacemaker 65% of the time, but now I sometimes forget it even there. Thanks to everyone on here who as help me along the way. Good luck to everyone!!!!!!!!!!

It is so great to hear some real success stories on this website. So many of our PM members have complications and are not feeling well yet.

Good to hear from everyone, especially to the members "posting" after a while.

Let us hear from you more often,

Muggers want your ICD, not your wallet.

I am 100% pacemaker dependant and have been all my life. I try not to think about how a little metal box keeps me alive - it would drive me crazy. So I lead a very active life.
