A BIG THANK YOU

Hi - I just want to thank my friends on here who have given me support during my son's illness. It was endocarditis, fortunately for tony, they caught it in time before anything fatal happened and he is being discharged from hospital tomorrow,fingers x'd.
He is going into another Heart and Lung hospital next Monday for a Reveal monitor insertion. I dont know why really because they have diagnosed a leaking heart valve(pulmonary) and syncopy. They say they not going to replace the valve yet because of the cost. I ask myself, cost of a life is more important then cost of medication, am i wrong or am i right.
His BP fluctuates from 99/40 to 200/110 and a pulse rate of 50 to 55. This alone tells us there is something wrong here. but i am not a doctor, just a nurse so i leave it with them.
