Hi, I am Susie I live in Missouri. I have a small farm with horses & chickens, etc... I have had my pacemaker since Dec 18, 2000. I was diagnosed with sick sinus sydrome also known as sudden death syndrome, and tachy-brady syndrome. I wish they would make up their minds. Just wanted to introduce myself. Q

Glad you found us.
I think I know you from another pacemaker forum. You are very welcome here, too.
I think your life in Missouri sounds fascinating. I live in a suburb of Detroit, so maybe the grass just seems greener??
Anyway, welcome...
Suze.... (aka Nana)

Hello Suze,
I live in Wichita Kansas. That isn't so far from you. I was so happy to read your post. I have been taking riding lesson from a lady here in Kansas this last year. Way too cold now to do that. I wanted to say welcome and I hope to get to know you better.
Take care, happy trails, (I love trial rides) hee hee

I live in St. Louis County. I got my pm last March, and things are going ok. This site is awesome, stay in touch with folks here and get support and knowledge. I don't have horses but I manage to attract a few snakes, possums, raccoons, hawks into my back yard. I believe nature is good for the body, soul and heart.
Take care,
Rusty

I lived in Kansas.
I had my pacemaker in 1997 because of Sick Sinus Syndrome. My battery is running low but the doctor doesn't think I will need a replacement since he doesn't believe I need it in the first place.
You know you're wired when...
You have a dymo-powered bike.

I wouldn't be here if it were not for this amazing technology inside of me.

Welcome! I live in Alaska with 3 cats & a husky. I got my PM in Oct. 2000 for Atrial Fib.
I always wanted to live on a farm but suspect it be too much work, Hah. I had a bunch of huskies that I ran back in the day.
Take care,
Janet
