Jack

I regret so deeply that I did not log into this group while Jack was going through his difficulties. I know now that he was not alone and not to believe doctors that tell you "everything is fine...it takes adjusting" I blame myself for not being more determined to get to the bottom of Jack's problems. If only I had you guys to talk to..... your discussions would have given me the courage to demand answers and actions. God bless one and all. Jack's wife

Just read the comments in the clubhouse messages.
Yes we all need answers and most of the time we do not get any or just get fobbed off to keep us quiet, After all, we are the ones that are going through the ordeal of having a pm.
I live in the U.K. and I must say though that my doctors here are excellent but sometimes they can be evasive with answers.
Is it because they do not know or just dont want to frighten us with what they have to say.
I had my first pm in 1987 and my second one in 2005. Long time to have one without any problems, but since this one I dont seem to be so well, dont know why and medics cant answer me with this one. Maybe because I expect so much more with the upgrades of the pms
Sorry If I have gone on a little, but nice to talk to someone.
Regards Suzy

Please don't blame yourself!

It breaks my heart to read you are blaming yourself for not knowing the perfect questions to ask the Dr.s about Jack. I lost my husband 14 years ago to cancer, and I went through the same "butt kicking " with myself. We are not Dr.s, and when so much of the time they can't figure things out any better, why do we expect to know answers when all we're doing is trying to cope with our ill loved ones? It is natural to feel this way, but you have enough to deal with, without adding guilt to the list.
Take care, and keep posting for support.

I am just grateful to God that I lived long enough to have my ICD put in. So many people are not as lucky as us; even though we sometimes don't feel lucky.
