What a diagnosis

I just got a piece of junk mail offering me a chance in a drawing for a fee cremation! Does someone know something I don't know?

They obviously don't know that you have a pacemaker and will be living for many years to come! I get them all the time also, even before the pm.

Do You Have a Guidant?

by ted - 2008-02-06 09:02:54

Maybe our friends at Guidant are sending this to those of us that were unfortunate enough to have received a Guidant pacemaker or ICD?

Unbelievable

Pacemaker in my ashes

by ElectricFrank - 2008-02-07 01:02:46

I wonder if the pacer will keep my ashes jumping at least until the battery gives up.

Wow

Well I see where your coming from. The funeral homes call people around here everyday to try and get them to buy plots at their funeral homes. I have had to threaten the ones here with a harassment lawsuit if they didn't stop calling.

Shocking!

I have received more junk mail and telemarketing calls in my 50 yrs. but never have I heard of such a thing. Funeral homes do that also? I would freak out just to get one in the mail. What will they think of next?

meaningless

I work in a nursing / rehab facility. Our patients get that crap - unsolicited - all the time. - (even the ones who are completely unresponsive, and whose families have prepaid for whatever eternal arrangements they want years ago.......) - Then again if you have the recalled leads maybe the rest of us should keep an eye on our mailboxes too. :-) PD

You know you're wired when...

You always run anti-virus software.

A pacemaker completely solved my problem. In fact, it was implanted just 7 weeks ago and I ran a race today, placed first in my age group.
