Placebos

Have any of you been following the news reports on a survey that showed nearly half of docs regularly prescribe placebo pills to patients. Some of the articles also mentioned docs not correctly telling the patient what was done and why during a procedure.

I wonder if this isn't the cause of some of the reports here on the forum that don't seem to make sense.

If you are interested, Google the words "doctors placebo" (leave the quotes out. There isn't any particular article that tells it all. Check out several.
