Ablation

Hello to all of my pacemaker pals!

I am going to the hospital on Tuesday morning for my complete sinus node ablation. This will be my 4th ablation to date, and hopefully the last.
I am excited to hopefully get my condition under control, but a little anxious at the same time. This procedure will leave me with no sinus activity, thus being dependant on my pacemaker.
Please keep me in your thoughts and prayers Tuesday morning!

Thanks,
Amanda

P.S. Today is my 1 year anniversary with my pacemaker!!! What a year it has been!

Your in my prayers!

First thing I want to say Happy Birthday! Not anniversary as I look at it as another B-day where you should get a lot of gifts and a cake. What a great day to remember the blessing that God has more to do with you. Stay positive your surgery will go fine. Your in my prayers and thoughts often.

Much love my sister,
Tammy

Hope it all goes well

I want to hear about it

I SO hope it goes exactly perfect and EASY. I want to hear it CAN be done. I got my pacemaker in March and it has been the HIGHLIGHT of 2008. I tell my cardiologist I recommend them to everyone. I still have to take about 30 pills a day to control the rhythms and the pacer supports it from the bottom end. Now, I'm actually about 80% paced. I would love to just go completely paced and NOT have to take all the stupid meds which often leave my so hypotensive I can barely get up. After Tuesday, when you can.. will you tell us all about it. WHERE are you getting this done? I have heard marvelous things about PA, but I don't even know where this magic kingdom is. Thanks, Jill

THANK YOU!!!

You will be in my thoughts and prayers on Tuesday and I look at my pacemaker as a "friend" to be very thankful for.

You know you're wired when...

Your life has spark.
