Years of Experience ~ ~

by Carolyn65 - 2010-03-13 10:03:23

After years of experience of getting used to changing from "God's real time" and the change of time, I still stay confused for weeks.

The meds. I take for BP, Warfarin, etc. all have to be taken at the same time everyday. I take one set at 8:30 a.m. Central Standard Time and the Warfarin at 5:30 p.m. like every other Coumadin product taker in the whole World. Now, do I take it at 8:30 a.m. Sunday a.m., which will really be 9:30 a.m.? And the coveted "rat poisoning at 6:30 p.m. instead of the 5:30 p.m. Help, this may affect the whole World (LOL) ~

Please, I loved "God's Time for ol' as dirt years until they started messin' with His time.

Politicians Time

by ElectricFrank - 2010-03-13 11:03:05

When I lived in Arizona we called it Politicians Time and refused to go to it.

Don't be surprised at a run of vtach during the night when the pacer jumps ahead an hour and needs to catch up on the 3000-4000 beats that it missed. LOL

Just Say No!

by heartu - 2010-03-13 11:03:42

Just say no to DST! Not all states participate.

I'd like to know what idiot thought of it and what idiot bought the idea!

Benjamin Franklin is widely credited with being the person behind the idea if DST.

If I remember correctly, Lyndon Johnson was the sitting US president to permanently put DST into law.

Either way, it messes me up for several days...

You know you're wired when...

You have the perfect reason to show off your chest.

In fact after the final "tweaks" of my pacemaker programming at the one year check up it is working so well that I forget I have it.
