Hi from sistermary7

Well, I went back to the ep doc today and found out some good news and some ok news ( no real bad news depending on how you look at it). My ep doc is very sharp and was already anticpating on what I was going to tell him my symptoms were, so he was ready for me. He stopped the pm and my hr dropped to 30. Nearly passed out and had the same s/s that I had when my hr was 280. He tried to change my mode and i did not tolerate it at all.He noted that I have an unusally high resting hr to begin with still even with the pm. I was more comfortable in my current setting even though I still become sob and lightheaded at times. We had a long talk and decided together to leave me in this mode for about another mo.he changed my bp med which will help the dry cough I have and may also help decrease my resting hr. The "gooder" news is that I told him about what I am going to try to do in working with this rep to help get answers and invited him to join us and he said he would like to help! So no real bad news. As a nurse I see people everyday having to live with things that I wonder how do they do it. The answer to that one is, they just do. I don't know why I had to get a pm at 44 y/o in the prime of my life, but I did . Ok, well if that is the way it is going to be then by dang it I am going to use it to try to help myself and others. All the patients who are having these signs and symptoms hold the key for these companies and doctors to make progress. WE are those patients. We have work to do and don't have time for bickering. I need a team of people who are interested in putting their energy into a good cause , one that may affect you. Are you interested? If so please keep sending me your questions and what problems you are having so I can pass them on to the pm rep and the doc.None are too small or stupid to ask or report. Remeber we hold the data to get the help we need.
Take care
Sistermary
