Depression

I think this may be very helpful ..especially to the newbies!!

Depression and anxiety both. Heart patients universally suffer from one or both. It is compounded for people with ICDs. People with pacemakers tend to not be as seriously impacted.

My depression has finally lifted with the removal of my device. it's hard to believe that just a couple of months ago I had become suicidal. I have hope for the first time in three years. Don't take me wrong. I know I will die from my heart condition but I am healing now as I should have been healing three years ago.
I still have anxiety issues but hopefully that will become lessen as time goes on.

without telling you my life story i need to say that everyone is and has a different story. right now i don't think that my life has turned out badly. i certainly always had enough money as an adult. as a child well now that is another story. money tho is not the most important to me. it is having enough to eat, a clean place to sleep,a bright and cheery house which could even be an apt.i tho would prefer to remainin our home, house as it were.i have recently found out that people sometimes in life are huge manipulators and are really only there for money. in my parents lifetime because they didn't have much as it were it did not happen.life's lessons are always around us. don't miss them like i did only seeing good in people. jessie

But I think it will make me feel a lot better. My stamina to walk is already better, even right after surgery. They had me walk all around the floor before they would release me. I did so without being exhausted and winded the way I had been.
