It's Me....Pookie

Hi Everyone!!!

I am still in the United States and still a very sick puppy, but I was determined to get on that dam plane regardless ... and I did !!! Unfortunately, Harley & I were meant to meet here in Minnesota, but the morning before going I called her and we decided to cancel because of my illness. Then my sister called and convinced me NOT to cancel until the very last moment, by this time Harley had already cancelled her flight.

I was to see my family doctor and even went to the ER before coming here trying everything I could think of to make me feel a bit better, but frankly, got nowheres. Late Wednesday night, the day before my flight, I got to feeling a bit better and I had packed weeks prior, so the morning of my flight, (June 4th), I decided to at least give it my best try so I jumped in the shower, threw my baseball cap on (and some clothes, of course) and got on the plane. ... that was one week ago today.

I even ended up in the ER here...but I'll leave that to another day.

The weather here for the entire first week was rain, so my twin sister and I just stayed indoors and she tended to all my needs. She's been busy looking after me, plus my 77 year old father is with me.

Just thought I'd let everyone know I'm still alive and kicking and will post again when I get home on Sunday.

Thank you everyone for your kind words.

P.S. I'm not sick because of my heart, but rather my stomach. I'm down to 106 pounds (was 155) but my husband called yesterday and I at least have a CT scan of my tummy when I get home as my family doctor requested this & marked it as "urgent" prior to me coming here. I am also to be seen by yet another Gastroentologist when I get home, but no date yet.

Thanks everyone.
Pookie
XOXO

Glad to hear it's not cardiac...but not happy about the large amount of weight loss....a soft wind could blow you away....I really hope they can provide you with some answers when you get home.

If though you were unwell with your visit to your sisters I hope you enjoyed each others company...

hugs.....Mary Anne

You know you're wired when...

You fondly named your implanted buddy.
