1 Year on!

Hi all! I havent posted on here in quite a while. Have been feeling quite well of late and trying to just get on with it. I do try and log on though to see how you all are.

Thursday 16/04/09 Will be my pacemaker's 1st birthday! I cant believe it has been a year, it feels like it has fled by, and also feels like its been longer sometimes, I suppose that is a good thing as it means I am used to it.
Still cant believe that I have a pacemaker sometimes, it was still very much a shock to me when it happened. Within me having my episode to having my pacemaker fitted to being released from the hospital all happened within 1 week, it was a bit of a whirlwind......especially after reading some stories on here I know that some people go through months and sometimes years of investigation. Up until I fainted that Saturday night I had no idea there was anything wrong with me apart from feeling really exhausted (and i'd put that down to a hectic and busy lifestyle!)

Anyway just wanna say a massive Thank you to those that listened to me, advised me and those who just became my friend on here, without you and my family and friends I would not have got through it.

Love to all you guys.

Congratulations on your anniversary. I too just passed the one year mark. It's amazing how adaptable we humans are. Now I barely notice the pm. I just hope it stays that way:)

You know you're wired when...

You have a T-shirt that reads “Wired4Sound”.

A pacemaker completely solved my problem. In fact, it was implanted just 7 weeks ago and I ran a race today, placed first in my age group.
