So on a similar note, how did "XOXOXO" become hugs and kisses???
These things I wonder about.
Another one is: Who decided toilet paper should be the size it is? Was it a mathematical formula?
Wouldn;t it be better if it came in small, medium, large... and maybe even extra large?

Many thanks all, I only knew of it meaning 'lots of love' and that was usually out of context. So, 'laughing out loud' now makes sense. Thanks for your offer Smitty but I don't think I'll live ling enough to use your very comprehensive list.

There are more than 5,000 Email Abbreviations, Chat Acronyms & Text Message Shorthand. If you want the entire list (it is much too long to post here) send me a private message with your email address and 'I'll send you a copy.
Any of you others that would like a copy of what I offered Lesley give me a an address to where I can send them. I'll have the list stored in my computer for a few more days while I commit it to memory.
That's a joke folks, I will never live long enough to memorize all of those things, even if I wanted to.
