Our Dad Was A Wonderful Man

Well its been awhile since I have been on here...... I am the daughter of Boog and Becky & I wanted to thank everyone who helped us with him....
Dad has been in and out of the hospital for two years and each time we went in it would go from 4 days to 2 week to 1 month.. Well we just got out from being in hospital for a month and returned to San Augustine on Friday June 19th.. On Monday June 22 we went back into the hospital here in our home town and Dad past away on June 23..... He went so peacful......
Daddy was so special and loved with such a big heart.. It was really hard getting on here to tell ya'll about it because it makes it so real ...... Dad was a fighter to the end because in Lufkin Tx where dad was in hospital for the last month told him he would die there..... Dad told them over and over again it would be not there he would be back on his turf!!! HOME! Well folks this man did it.... O gosh I miss him so much! He would always get so happy when I would start talking about Pookie ...... Pookie I know dad never meet you but gosh this man new you!!!!!! We love you so much and you will never know what you mean to us.... Harley and Maryann same goes for ya'lll... This site is so wonderful and I am so thankful people have a place to go and talk and get information.... That is what lead me to this site... We needed HELP with DAD!!! God lead us to this site ...... Thank ya'll so much.... Boogs Family!

Your Dad passed away on the day my mother was buried. So, I know how difficult things are. So sorry for your loss. Remember the good times and thewonderful person he was. As your grief passes this will give you happiness.

Oh Shelley! I'm sorry. You dad was a WONDERFUL person; I can tell by the praise! He fought the fight and won!! He is no longer down here suffering! I will pray for you and your family.

chat locked up on me. Talk again soon I hope. Try and remember the good things you had with your dad and it will help a little to ease the pain, I lost my dad on the fourth of july 4 years ago and miss him all the time, heres another big hug for you
