life insurance

Does anyone know where I can get term life insurance? I have a policy that will expire in about 5 years -- I have tried to purchase another one -- but most insurance companies place an extremely high premium once they find out I have a PM (strange since I am now healthier than before the implant). Any info will be appreciated. Larry

Belong to organizations

If you belong to any organizations they may offer group policies. I got an eighty thousand dollar no questions asked policy from the IEEE which is an electrical engineering organization I belong to. AAA (American Automobile Association) also offered a life insurance policy.

If you are in the US, try AARP, if you are old enough. Actually there may not be an age limit, but I have never looked. They offer a term life (I think that is what it is) that is available to almost everyone. The way they can do it is they will not pay the death benefit for the first 2 or 3 years if you die, but they will return the premiums paid with a reasonable amount of interest.
