valve replacement

Hi to the other Lou,,I had a valve replacement 6 months ago at Duke. I met a man that was 92 while I was there. He had surgery the day before me and went home way before me. I hope and pray your dad will do well. If he is computer savy,,there is a website devoted to us.
valvereplacement.com..It is full of folks to help and share with.
The best to you both
Lou

I missed you!

Nice to see you again Lou. I missed you so wrote to Arabella and she said things weren't too good with you just now. I'm sorry to hear your father's having to undergo surgery and certainly I, and all of us here, will be sending positive thoughts and'll pray for his safe recovery. Are you doing all right these days? Being a good girl, etc. I'll bet!

As far as the Pacer Olympics are concerned, I can't make up my mind whether to go in for the luge or the skeleton! For one you come down an icy slope at about 95 miles an hour and stop yourself with your legs! The other is same icy slope at same speed but you stop yourself with your head! I wish I'd practised a bit more when we'd the snow here this winter! Have dug out an old teatray which might be suitable for the events. I'm too old for anything which might over-excite me!

Be safe and well and good wishes to your father. All love, Sheila xxx

P.S. If I can't have GC, I'll take Edgar Allen Poe... Oh wait! Gershwin's mine too! Hmmm, which one???

I was beginning to think you were out in training in secret! I am still unsure of my category but I am leaning toward the racing heart category! I think I am up to about 180 with meds! he he .... Anyway,
I hope your Dad enjoys a speedy recovery!

Good luck to your father with the valve replacement surgery. Tell us what's new with your "bad"feelings?
I want to hear good news from you, also.
Anette.
