ICD is gone

Well my hubby got rid of his icd the hard way. Sunday night, after waiting for 3 years, he had a heart transplant. He is doing well. He was sitting in a chair this morning for a few hours and ate a little jello and broth. Pray that he continues to improve.

What a special blessing at the beginning of this new year. Like Cathryn the first line scared me until I read further! My prayers will be lifted up for your husband's new heart to beat vibrantly in his body and that he will have no complications. Extend my warm wishes to your hubby and the same goes for you. More prayers that you will have a magnificent 2008 and make lots of great memories; this new heart is certainly one for the books! Please let us know how he does as he recovers. God bless you both, the heart that is now his and whoever gave the heart - what a magnanimous gift.

Coming your way. What a blessing he got his transplant. So many do not in time.
