And I'm still sore. My incision itself burns, tingles, and hurts to touch it. It's all part of the healing process. The pain you experienced after walking, I'm not sure about though. if you continue to feel that I would definitely mention that to your doctor.
Sometimes, though, while I begin to walk on the treadmill I experience a few weird feelings. This is just the pacer kicking in, I'm told.
I now am running, after the initial tweakiness when I start on the treadmill it goes away quickly and I'm good to go for the rest of the way.
Don't be afraid to ask your doctor anything. You've got this expensive piece of medical equipment in your chest for a reason, and part of what you pay for is the follow-up. So don't feel bad for asking, you deserve it because you've paid for it already. Also there are no stupid questions.

I have had my pacer since 2005. At first it ruled my life. It took some time to calm down and make the mental adjustment. I had trouble sleeping and I worried a lot about pulling wires. Now I just live my life as I wish.
