Diagnosis off work

Went to my cardioligist wednesday for a followup after the week prior adjustment. Had been off from work a week. Breathing was a little better, getting fatigued after little excersion, lightheaded, and getting dizzy. Made no adjustments, told me in no uncertain terms I shouldnt even be here, told me I probably will not be able to do any physical labor as what i had been doing, and he wanted me to go on disability. he is adjusting my medication upping my coreg dosage, and will keep raisiing as long as no adverse reaction happens. So I guess im retired for right now, really dont have a problem with that will give me a chance to actually heal. Hope i can deal with not working and haveing a paycheck, i am not looking forward to the social secruity escapade as it sounds like a horror story. sometimes this countrys prioritys on things seems a little backwards. but im not going to get into that one.
So i guess you guys are going to have to put up with me quite a bit. lol. And i will be doing alot of studying of all this stuff more than what i have been already.

Life can get in our way,sometimes...but time for self can be rewarding...just takes patience & sometimes developing new goals.

You mentioned you will be studying.."of all this stuff "...this is a good outlet for you to pursue.

If you are interested, I have several sites I explore to gather information on the many " conditions " my body entertains.....try this site..( copy & paste it in your browser )...if you find it informative, I have others I can share with you or anyone who is interested: my e-mail is: celone@groveemail.com.

I am taking Coreg 25mg 2X's daily...wasn't given the chance to titrate up to that dose..WOW ! that took adjustment on my part, but, I now am stabilized & doing well with it.

Be patient & take one day at a time...life is good.

I'm so sorry to hear you can't go back to work. I know you're disappointed and probably worried. Please take care of yourself!

the company i work for made one attempt to put me in another job but it was in the same extreme heat and smokey invorenment that cardioligist didnt want me around, I tried to do it but got sick, sick meaning got dizzy, sweating profusely, chest pain, and a hacking cough which i hadnt had since after my open heart, which i figured was being around all the smoke.
I thought that ssd was based on your work history that you had done, wages you had earned, and medical. work record lets see i had been in working supervision for 30 years and last 3 years in physcial labor production.
Supervision: Dave has experence Dave has no degree so now I had applied for at least 0 different openings and either didnt get called or when i did they wouldnt even talk to me because i had no degee, experience dont mean squat anymore if you have no degree. Labor production: cant do the physical stuff because of the heart damage i have sustained. Plus the pay i have made over all these years, can not even find a job that is even close to what i have made plus 51 year old male with a heart condition, thought all this played a part into ssd, unless what i have read i read wrong, dont know because i have never had to do any of this.
But that is what is wrong with this country, people that dont deserve help get the help and people that do need it either wont apply or the government says noooooo. I personally know some people on ssd that for the life of me, which will what will probably happen. shouldnt even had even come close to getting any ssd. but i guess thats the way this stuff works. sorry but when i start talking about this or start thinking of it i really get pissed off, that is why im scared to death, i cant get out of my mind that im going to lose everything i have worked my ass off for for over 30 years, because of my health.

sorry
dave

In fact after the final "tweaks" of my pacemaker programming at the one year check up it is working so well that I forget I have it.
