My father received his first pacemaker a couple of weeks ago. Predominantly, things are well. However, he spoke of an experience that was unsual. Once or twice per day, he feels movement in his chest. He can't locate it by placing his hand on the chest. No pain, just feels a little off. Seems like it could be gas, but is not. Interestingly, heart beat and pulse not in synch during these occurrences.
Any help or perspective would be appreciated. Enjoy the evening.

Life does not stop with a pacemaker, even though it caught me off guard.

It sounds like your dad is simply having some pvc's. Palpitations. Not really abnormal. I would mention it to his doctor, but it's probably nothing to worry about. I get them.
