Tampa 2009; Kudos to All

Where to begin. What a fabulous time was had by all. Sooooooooooooo glad the opportunity was made available and sooooooo glad I was able to go. Dancing with the Stars Tampa 2009 was so much fun. Dancers (Pro paired with Amateur), Judges, Host/Hostess ... the Marriott did a wonderful job managing approx ~850 "guests" to this event and did a great job. It was so much FUN!

Blake: Thank you and your wife Rachael (spelling?) for all the effort that went in to organizing this Social Event. Thank you both for enabling us to meet other Pacemaker Club members (as well as yourselves). It is so nice to spend time with others and put a face to a name. So priceless to make new friends!

Pacer Chicks: Wow. So lucky to have met you and spent time with you. Cuban lunch, flea market in Ygor (?) City, getting dressed for the Dancing with the Stars event (laughs, giggles, cosmopolitans (yum yum) , help with my makeup, more cosmopolitans ... the list could go on forever. Tracey, Louise, Susie, Katelyn, Linda, Nancy, Bev . One could not ask for better people and support .. as Tracey said "We get it so we are a good support network for each other"... lets not let this moment pass us by :-)) Let's capitalize on it. Let's not let geography get in the way....The friendships I personally made are to be treasured and cultivated like fine wine.

Angelie: Sooooooo sorry you could not make it and hope you are recovering well. Next year lady !!

Pacer Studs: Blake, Gary (and Alfonso) .. such lovely fine gentlemen in the true sense of the word (I am originally from Boston so am very conservative - well sort of !!). So nice to have met you. Hoping Gary and Alfonso can come to my house for Thanksgiving.

Summary: Guess what I can offer is a great big S-I-G-H of contentment with a big smile. Much like the cartoon of the St Bernard dog that gets a bone and floats to the sky in sheer and utter contentment. Such a happy time. Hope to meet more of you next year.

Thanks again Blake and Rachael.
Thanks to all for a memorable weekend.

It was a great time, so glad I got to meet you all...!! For once I felt normal and "fit it" instead of being the outcast with my medical condition and scars! Katelyn
