PM Site Repair

I just want to update everyone on my old PM site repair & clean up. I went in Monday noon and had my protruding PM leads cut, excess scar tissue surounding the old PM pouch removed. They did give me a general anesthetic. Surprise, as many of us are not familiar with plastic surgery, I learned a lot.
My surgeon did a magic marker layout (pattern) on my left chest The layout of 2 letter V's joining at the tops over the 3 previous PM scars, neat. After turning out my lights the old area was removed along with all the scar tissue inside along with the pouch. Also the main objective, those wires were clipped and secured. Now a nice 2" boob lift for new material to close up the double V, neatly sewed up and steristriped.
Tracy had put my mind at ease as to the clean up. She said that's their job. My cardioloist arranged this as he felt it was more than he wanted to handle.

So, all in all I was home two hours after surgery with no more pain than the normal PM install. Hopefully this will ease some of the worries out there about the unknown. Now with my new St Jude right chest install I should be happy for another 17 years, just call me (rightbooblow) 2 inches. Don
