Finaly!!

It's been a good while to get back on track. PM removal (erosion), New PM right chest installation, Attempted old site restoration (failed lead eroded through site). Another surgery is done clipping old leads with protrusive end caps removed, proper securing and padding and about a 2" boob lift for a much neater repair. It healed up great in 2 weeks, feels great and doesn't look bad with a shirt over it.
I had to risk the 4th and last surgery without antibiotics as the body couldn't handle any more. (side effects) I did not ever have any infection going even with my PM that eroded which was really a Blessing. Now after all the antibiotic aftermath hopefully I can gain back a few lbs. and get my body's immune system back on track (which just reminded me to grab a Dan Active). So all in all I learned after 17 years of Good PM roads, you have to expect a few bumps in the road. One thing I want to mention is I truly wished I would have found this site sooner because the information available from good people here would have saved me one year of misery and at least one surgery. I just can't say enough about how much info can be gotten from members past postings. Thank You!! DonB

Glad to read you're back on track.

Whew, sounds like you went thru quite the surgeries.

Yep, I've got to agree with you on this site being a true lifesaver.

Happy Summer.

Thank You for your comments. It's funny how we scour each other's postings and find how to count our own blessings. Just in the last week or so I finally realized what it's like to feel good again, hopefully we all learn from our experiences. DonB
