KICK-IN

HI
THIS IS MY SECOND PACEMAKER/DEFIB.
IT HAS BEEN REPROGRAMMED SEVERAL TIMES.
I STILL FEEL IT KICK-IN.
DOES ANYONE ELSE FEEL THE PACER KICK-IN ?
I'VE BEEN TOLD I AM JUST OVER-SENSITIVE...HMMMM

Someone else posted something similar to this recently, have a look and see if you can find it.

I was also feeling mine kick in, often around 10pm and someone said it may be the pm doing its checks.

Hope you sort it out.

Ok, this is the 3rd attempt for me to get this to post...and I've had to rewrite it each time...so if all 3 come up, I apologize. Anyway...
I think the key is to find one person you can trust to get your settings right, and then tell everyone else to leave it alone. In my case, my APN is the only one who can get it right. Even if a tech interrogates it, I have him go back and recheck it to make sure the settings are right. I'm 100% paced, and a tech once turned off my pacing to my ventricles b/c he didn't think I needed it because of my age (30's). Assuming is dangerous, and I don't like assumptions when it comes to my life, so I only make appointments when I know my APN is there. As far as feeling it pace, I was told when I first got mine that I was feeling it b/c I'm thin....however, my APN was able to lower the voltage it was using and get it to where it was comfortable...the only time I feel it pace is when a little more voltage is needed to overcome my natural heart beat trying to kick in. It can be done...keep looking for the right person to adjust it, and then tell everyone else to leave it be.

THANKS
